OUR APPROACH

Clinical precision, human care.

We built Recentered Life on the belief that structured, evidence-based treatment should be accessible to everyone - without waitlists, without stigma, and without putting life on hold.

Our mission

We believe structured clinical care should be the standard - not the exception. Our framework treats the patterns underneath the symptoms, so progress sticks.

Evidence-Based Framework

Every intervention is grounded in CBT, DBT, and EMDR - modalities with strong clinical evidence for lasting change.

Structured Intensity

Our programs deliver 9-15 hours of weekly clinical contact - enough depth to shift patterns, not just manage symptoms.

Measurable Progress

We track clinical outcomes at every stage so you can see your progress - and so your care team can adapt in real time.

CLINICAL FRAMEWORK

How we treat - and why it works.

Our clinicians are licensed to treat the full scope of mental health. Every program draws from multiple evidence-based modalities - matched to you, not a protocol.

Identifies and restructures the thought patterns driving anxiety, depression, and self-destructive behavior. The most researched modality in clinical psychology.

Builds distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness - the capacity to feel without being controlled by feeling.

Processes traumatic memories that drive present-day reactions. Highly effective for PTSD, trauma, and anxiety rooted in past experience.

Resolves ambivalence about change. For substance use, entrenched patterns, and the space between wanting help and resisting it.

Develops psychological flexibility - the ability to be present with difficult emotions and act from values rather than fear.

Builds solutions rather than dissecting problems. Goal-oriented, practical, and designed to create momentum - especially in intensive settings.

Licensed for the full scope

We treat the person, not just the diagnosis.

Our clinicians hold active California licenses and are trained across the full diagnostic spectrum. Whether your concern is clearly defined or still taking shape - we meet you where you are.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

What we believe

i

You're not broken. You're running a pattern. The behaviors and reactions that feel like character flaws are usually learned responses - and what's learned can be unlearned.

ii

Traditional therapy often moves too slowly. Weekly sessions can maintain stability, but they rarely create breakthrough change. Our intensive programs deliver the depth to actually shift patterns.

iii

Seeking help is not weakness. The stigma around mental health care keeps too many people stuck. Our entire practice is built to dissolve that stigma - from design to delivery.

You're in experienced hands.

No layers of management. You work directly with the clinicians who understand your case and guide your treatment from start to finish.

JOINT COMMISSION ACCREDITED

The gold standard in behavioral health.

JCAHO accreditation means Recentered Life meets the same rigorous clinical and safety benchmarks as top hospitals and treatment centers nationwide. It's the highest level of quality assurance in healthcare - and not every IOP has it.

This certification validates our clinical protocols, patient safety standards, staff training, and continuous quality improvement processes. When you choose a JCAHO-accredited program, you're choosing care held to the highest standard.

Frequently asked questions

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) involves 9-15 hours of clinical contact per week - group therapy, individual sessions, and skills workshops. Outpatient therapy is 1-2 sessions per week focused on individual work. IOP is designed for people who need more structure than weekly therapy provides but don't require residential care.

Start with our free assessment. It takes about 5 minutes and helps our clinical team recommend the right program based on your symptoms, history, and goals. You can also call us directly and speak with an intake coordinator.

We're in-network with Aetna, Anthem, BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, UMR, and others. Most members pay $0 out of pocket. Use our benefits checker to verify your coverage in under a minute.

Most members move from intake to their first session within 48 hours. There are no waitlists. Once your benefits are verified and your intake is complete, we match you with a clinician and get you scheduled.

Yes. All sessions - group therapy, individual therapy, and workshops - are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. You attend from home on your schedule, with evening and flexible options available.

A typical IOP week includes 3-4 group therapy sessions, 1 individual session with your clinician, and skills-based workshops - totaling 9-15 hours of clinical contact. Sessions are held in the evenings so you can continue working and managing daily life.

Our clinicians are licensed to treat the full scope of mental health - including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, bipolar disorder, OCD, substance use, grief, relationship distress, emotional dysregulation, and more. If you're unsure, our assessment will help clarify.

JCAHO (Joint Commission) accreditation is the gold standard in healthcare quality. It means Recentered Life meets the same rigorous clinical and safety benchmarks as top hospitals and treatment centers. Not every outpatient program has it.

Absolutely. Many members step down from IOP to outpatient therapy as they progress, or move to Guided Recovery for continued support. Your clinician works with you to adjust your level of care as your needs evolve.

Weekly therapy isn't always enough - especially when symptoms are persistent or compounding. Our structured programs deliver significantly more clinical contact than traditional therapy, using multiple evidence-based modalities. The intensity is often what creates the shift.
